As we learned about Thanksgiving and how the Native Americans and Pilgrims worked together we thought it was important for the children to put their learning to use. Each child was asked to bring in an item that they could donate to The Howard County Food Bank to help people who may not have enough to eat. Each child decided what to bring and on November 24th, the children and teachers walked next door to the food bank and delivered the food for distribution.
We hope the lessons of Thanksgiving and helping others were realized by our youngest citizens.
